TRAC tennis tournament slated for Saturday at Fremont Ross

5/8/2013

St. John’s Jesuit, ranked No. 7 in the Division I state coaches poll, is heavily favored to repeat its title Saturday at the second annual Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys tennis tournament at Fremont Ross.

The Titans took last year’s championship by winning titles at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, as well as No.1 and No. 2 doubles. Central Catholic’s Dugan Delp, then a sophomore, was the only barrier to a St. John’s sweep, claiming the No. 1 singles title.

Findlay was the team runner-up last year, and the Trojans were runners-up in all three singles and both doubles.

This year’s tourney starts at 9 a.m.
