Springfield 28, Northview 20

The Blue Devils scored 20 fourth quarter points to rally for a Northern Lakes League home win Friday night .

Springfield (3-3, 1-2) trailed 17-8 entering the final period. A.J. Harrison caught a 24-yard pass from quarterback Scott Seymour to open the quarter.

Northview kicker Ross Hanna followed with a 27-yard field goal to make the score 20-15.

Seymour scampered in from 11 yards out to put Springfield up 21-20 with 4:10 left. Elijah Todd scored on a 22-yard run to ice the game.

Todd finished with 16 rushes for 155 yards and two TDs, also scoring on a 17-yard run in the second quarter. Seymour was 9 of 21 passing for 178 yards.

Corey Donnelly scored on a one-yard run for the Wildcats (1-5, 0-3) and Derek Hullibarger caught a 14-yard TD pass from Brendan Pierson. Hanna also kicked a 48 yard field goal in the first half.

Anthony Wayne 38,Bowling Green 12

At Anthony Wayne, coach Craig Smith gained his 100th career victory in his 17th season.

The Generals (3-3, 2-1) rolled after halftime, outscoring Bowling Green 28-9 in the second half.

"I’ve had a lot of really good players and coaches," said Smith, who is 100-65. "I’m really proud of the program. I think we’ve done it the right way."

Tyree Hummel led a punishing ground attack, rushing for 202 yards and a 77-yard scoring run. Josh Schwerer rushed for three touchdowns and finished with 152 yards, and Evan Brown had 110 yards, including an 84-yard TD scamper. Jake Hartbarger opened the scoring with a 26-yard field goal.

Nathan Meyers booted two field goals for the Bobcats (2-4, 1-2), while David Espen ran for a TD.

Napoleon 48, Maumee 7

NAPOLEON — Anson Lankenau caught two passes for 66 yards, both touchdowns, then returned a punt 67 yards for a score as the Wildcats (4-2, 2-1) rolled to a win.

Blake Dunbar completed 9 of 13 passes for 152 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. His five-yard pass to Nate Rohrs made it a 34-0 lead at halftime.

Bryant Schlade (23 carries, 160 yards), Devon Armour (13 carries, 80 yards), and Zach Plassman also ran for touchdowns for Napoleon, which dominated total yards 443-151.

Maumee (2-4, 1-2) got its touchdown on a 59-yard run by Jordan Spellis.
