Northview tennis standout Megan Miller state-bound again

Northview senior Megan Miller, a four-time NLL No. 1 singles champion, heads to the Division I state tennis tournament in Columbus this weekend.

It is Miller’s third trip to state. She didn’t make it out of the first round as a freshman and was a quarterfinalist as a junior.

Miller will meet Cincinnati Walnut Hills freshman Lilly O’Toole in the first round.

Notre Dame’s Nina Eid, who was district runner-up, will face Eleanor Bullock of Dublin Jerome in the first round.

Notre Dame’s Alicia Nahhas and Teagan McNamara won the D-I district doubles title. The duo will open at state with a match against Jane Haffer and Alex Cash of New Albany.

St. Ursula’s Celina Nowicki and Sydney Seeley qualified and will play Audrey Berger and Kyra Jung of Upper Arlington.

In Division II, Maumee Valley Country Day’s Rochell Issa, district runner-up, will face Madison Riley of South Point.

Ottawa Hills’ Lilli Boice, third at district, plays Andrea Ballinger of Gahanna Columbus Academy.
