Perrysburg scored, and scored, and scored Friday in the first half at Northview, keeping firm grip of first place in the Northern Lakes League with a 55-10 victory. The Yellow Jackets scored on every possession of the first half except when they let the clock run out to end it.
Bedford a winner on Senior Night
The Mules take the field to play Monroe High School on Friday night at Bedford High School.
The undefeated Mules beat Southeastern Conference rival Monroe to win the SEC Red Division championship as Bedford outscored Monroe 28-7 in the second half en route to a decisive 38-17 victory before the Mules home crowd.
Eagles ground game wears down Bulldogs
Eastwood jumped all over Rossford, seizing a 30-point lead in the first quarter and rolled to a 64-17 victory. The Eagles had eight rushing touchdowns by five different players. Senior Devin Snowden scored on his first two touches and finished with a game-high rushing 129 yards.
Northwood stays perfect in conference
Over the final 20 minutes, Northwood (6-2, 5-0) outscored Toledo Christian 35-6, and ultimately rolled to a 38-20 victory over the Eagles (5-3, 4-1) Friday night. Junior running back Dominik Bermejo led the way for the Rangers’ offense, rushing 29 times for 200 yards and three touchdown in the TAAC showdown.
