Big 2nd half rallies Bulldogs past Rams

The Spartans wiped out a 12-0 halftime deficit with 20 second-half points, capped by the winning touchdown with only 2 minutes, 19 seconds left to play Friday night at Rogers in a City League game.

Quarterback Trey Brown ran nine times for 63 yards and scored all three touchdowns for Scott (4-6, 3-2 CL), which drove 91 yards in eight plays on the winning drive. Brown also ran in the two-point conversion to provide the final margin.

Day’vonta Russell (18 carries, 99 yards), and Kevin Banks (11 carries, 70 yards) helped set up Brown’s TD runs of eight, three, and nine yards.

Anthony Amison led the Rams (2-8, 2-3) with seven catches for 83 yards, which included TD receptions that covered 23 and 41 yards. Taqim Price and Wendell Warren threw the TD passes.
