Baer leads Perrysburg with 22 points; Generals win on road against Blue Devils

Perrysburg 44, Southview 40

Perrysburg rallied with a 16-7 edge in the fourth quarter to capture the win Friday night in Northern Lakes League girls basketball.

Sarah Baer had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets (2-0). Allex Brown scored 13 and had 11 boards.

The Cougars (1-1) were led by Taryn Stanley with 11 points.

 

Anthony Wayne 48, Springfield 44

Victoria Burdo scored 13 and Megan Bedard 10 as the Generals grabbed a road win.

Natalie Yoder pumped in 25 points for the Blue Devils behind 5 3-pointers. Jewel Rollins added 10.

 

Northview 42, Napoleon 23

NAPOLEON — Kendall Jessing scored 18 and Kendall McCoy 11 for Northview (3-1).

Napoleon was led by Kayla Gerken with 11.

 

Rogers 66, Cleveland East Tech 32

Jasmyne Smith, who finished with 14 points, made three 3-pointers in the second quarter to help the Rams pull away.

 

Bowling Green 72, Maumee 29

BOWLING GREEN — Tyanna Smith led Bowling Green with 20 points. Hanna Williford added 13 points for the Bobcats (2-1).

Kristin Harris had nine points for Maumee (0-2), which trailed 32-13 at halftime.

 

Evergreen 61, Wauseon 44

METAMORA — Kendalyn Noe had 18 points for the Vikings.

Haili Mossing added 13 points and Eden Eisel had 10 for Evergreen (4-0).

Natalie Koenig led Wauseon (0-3) with 20 points.

 

Archbold 70, Liberty Center 24

LIBERT CENTER — Jesse Fidler scored 19 points and Cassidy Wyse added 17 for the Blue Streaks.

Liberty Center's Andrea Weirauch scored 12 points to lead the Tigers.

 

Elmwood 50, Otsego 44

TONTOGANY — Samantha Ervin score 16 points and Kristen Curtis added 10 for the visiting Royals.

Abby Hesselschwardt had 27 points to lead the Knights.

 

Rossford 53, Eastwood 44

PEMBERVILLE — Julie Hotz led the Bulldogs with a 23 points.

Mackenzie Albright had 17 points for the Eagles.

 

Lake 42, Fostoria 37

FOSTORIA — Jordyn Taylor and Catie Phalen each tallied 11 points to lead the Flyers.

Jada Hampton paced Fostoria with 13.

Waite 60, Scott 56

Waite used a 20-14 fourth-quarter finish to claim a 60-56 home victory over Scott in a City League girls basketball game Wednesday night.

Ramiha Henry finished with 16 to lead the Indians (2-0), while Yatiah Caldwell had 14, Taylor Works 13 and Latesha Craig 12.

Essence Johnson scored 13 points for the Bulldogs (0-1), while Dreyona Johnson and Symone Palmer each had 10 for the Bulldogs (0-1).

 

Start 51, Woodward 34

The Spartans used an 18-6 run in the second quarter to claim the home victory.

Mariah White finished with 14 points to lead Start (2-2, 1-0 City).

K’Shawna Barnett scored 15 for Woodward.

 

Rogers 92, Bowsher 13

Akienreh Johnson led Rogers with 15 points, while Tori Easley added 13.
