Southview 75, Whitmer 59

Matt Morrison scored 35 points, including going 8 of 8 on free throws in the fourth quarter, to lead the Cougars to the road win Saturday night in boys basketball.

Southview led 41-28 at halftime but the Panthers pulled to within 56-46 after three quarters.

Chris Parker finished with 17 points, Jon Ashe 14 points, and Montrece Collins 12 for Whitmer.

 

Springfield 65, Bowsher 60

Manny Durden had 14 points, both Demajeo Wiggins and Markese Hicks 12 while Chad Roy had 10 as the Blue Devils won at home.

Dajuan King had 25 points while Zach Bloomer added 13 for the Rebels.

 

Eastwood 66, Maumee 53

PEMBERVILLE — Jake Schmeltz poured in 33 points to lead the Eagles. Grant Peters added 13.

Brian Utter had 11 points for Maumee.

 

North Baltimore 84, Elmwood 75

NORTH BALTIMORE — Jacob Frost scored 19 and Levi Newcomer 18 to lead the Tigers.

Andrew Arnold scored 39 points for the Royals.

 

Archbold 36, Wauseon 34

WAUSEON — Brandon Goering finished with 13 points and Luke Fisher added 10 to lead the Streaks.

Corry Byers finished with 13 points for Wauseon.

 

Fayette 40, Maumee Valley 28

Chandler Sanford had 14 points to pace the Eagles.

Solomon Collins had seven points to lead Maumee Valley.

 

Shaker Heights 59, St. John's 49

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Raiders won behind 28 points from Esa Ahmand.

Anthony Glover led the Titans with 25.

 

Ottawa Hills 56, Liberty-Benton 51

FINDLAY — Geoff Beans scored 18 as the Green Bears won in overtime. Ben Silverman had 15 and R.J. Coil 13.

Zach Garver led the Eagles with 18. John Darnell added 14.

Emmanuel Christian 60, Monclova Christian 29

Aaron Scheiderer scored 16 points and Nate Creech 14 as the Warriors won on the road. 

Tyler Patterson scored 12 for Monclova Christian.

 

Scott 58, Marion Harding 48

MARION, Ohio — Jay Wells scored 18 points and Chris Harris had 17 to lead the Bulldogs. Larry Green added 10.

Alex Krogman led Harding with 16. Tyler Longstreth had 11.

Anthony Wayne 73, Start 47

Matt Fox scored 20, Jake Reid 18, and Jamar Allen chipped in 13 for the Generals. Mike Mitchell had 14 and Adam Willis and Richard Lynn each had 10 for the Spartans.

 

Waite 89, Northeast Ohio Prep 37

Philip Darrington led the host Indians with 17. Kelvin Downer scored 16, Eric Neal had 12, and Alec Heslet 11 for Waite.

Sir Summers had 16 points for Northeast Ohio Prep.

 

Otsego 45, Swanton 44

TONTAGONY — Logan Hosley made a free throw with less than one second to go to lift the Knights. Jalen Myers led Otsego with 14 points and Schyler Scherff added 13.

Bryce McComb tallied 17 for the Bulldogs.

 

Woodward 69, Woodmore 45

The Polar Bears won behind Craig Kirkwood with 18 points, Breon Strozier with 12, and Ramoan Sane with 11.

Grant Weis had 16 for the Wildcats.

 

Rossford 52, Northview 46

Derek Mack had 17 points and Mack Miller scored 15 to lead the Bulldogs to the victory.

Aerin West had 18 for the Wildcats while Adam Downing had 10.

Chelsea Graham finished with 12 points to lead the Warriors to the road win. Ceonna Simon added 11.

Rachel Keiser scored 17 points for the Thunder.
