St. Francis de Sales 52 , Clay 47

The Knights outscored the Eagles 12-2 in the final quarter to pull out the come-from-behind win in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball matchup.

Kevin Metzger pumped in a team-high 17 points to lead St. Francis. Evan Wheeler chipped in with 16.

Patrick Booth led the Eagles with 18 points.

Bedford 70, Woodhaven 42

TEMPERANCE — Bedford raced out to a 40-13 lead at halftime and held on to win its season opener.

Jeremy Harris led the way for the Mules with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Tommy Shepherd added 11 points.

Lakota 105, Bettsville 24

KANSAS — Dean Ball scored 24 points and 15 Raiders scored as Lakota cruised.

Casey Monroe and Kyle Below added 10 points each for Lakota.

Ottawa Hills 67, Emmanuel Christian 30

At Emmanuel, the Green Bears placed four in double figures, headed by Ellis Cummings’ 16 points. Geoff Beans added 15, R.J. Coil 14, and Hunter Sieben 11 for Ottawa Hills (4-1).

Adam Regnier’s 13 points paced Emmanuel (1-3).

Maumee Valley 67, Northwood 15

The Hawks (3-1) had an easy time as Thad Woodard poured in 26 points, Keith McClure 11, and Truth Foreman 10. Woodard had 12 rebounds for the double-double.

Jacob Vickers and Jay Johnson each had five points for the Rangers (0-3).

Toledo Christian 55, Danbury 44

LAKESIDE — Kyle Kempton scored 23 points to lead the Eagles (3-1).

For the Lakers (0-4), Dominic Manuella had 12 and Hunter Stinchcomb 10.

Cardinal Stritch 65, Gibsonburg 62

GIBSONBURG — Cardinal Stritch erased a 20-11 first-quarter deficit and edged Gibsonburg late.

Austin Adams led the Cardinals (1-1) with 22 points and Austin Pratt added 14.

Andrew Cantrell led Gibsonburg (2-1) with 12 points.

Findlay 56, Fremont Ross 44

FREMONT — Adam Twining scored 17 points to lead Findlay (3-0).

Austin Guttng added 13 and Grant Niswander had 10 for the Trojans.

Jarvis Jones and Drew Solander led Fremont Ross (2-1) with nine points each.

Whiteford 74, Blissfield 52

OTTAWA LAKE — Colin Lake scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Bobcats past the Royals.

Luke Cassabaun paced Blissfield with a team-high 11 points.

 

Girls

Perrysburg 42, Napoleon 30

NAPOLEON — Perrysburg outscored Napoleon 16-8 in the fourth quarter to improve to 5-0.

Sarah Baer led the Yellow Jackets with 13 points and Allex Brown added 10.

Courtney Smith paced Napoleon with 16 points.

Elmwood 54, Fostoria 40

BLOOMDALE — Elmwood used a 15-5 first quarter edge to run away with a win in Northern Buckeye Conference girls basketball.

Kristen Curtis poured in 25 points for the Royals and Samantha Ervin added 10.

Jada Hampton scored 11 points to pace Fostoria.

Bowling Green 70, Springfield 54

BOWLING GREEN — The Bobcats raced out to a 22-4 lead after one quarter and held on to win.

Livvy Dill and Hanna Williford paced Bowling Green (4-2) with 20 points each, while Tyanna Smith added 13.

Natalie Yoder tallied 27 points for Springfield (2-6).

Ann Arbor Huron 52, Bedford 26

ANN ARBOR — Kendall Anderson tallied a team-high seven points to lead the Mules.

Woodmore 57, Rossford 39

ELMORE — Allie Wank’s 20 points and 11 by Mackenzie Johnson paced the Wildcats (3-4, 2-1).

Cheyenne Davis scored 12 points to top the Bulldogs.

Anthony Wayne 48, Northview 39

Jasmine Bonivel scored 21 points as Anthony Wayne (5-1) held off a late charge from host Northview.

Maddie Cole paced Northview (4-2) with nine poins.

Otsego 77, Eastwood 35

TONTOGANY — Abby Hesselschwardt poured in 21 points and Lindsey Donald added 16 for Otsego.

Reagan Boice led the way for Eastwood with 12 points.

Genoa 57, Lake 43

MILLBURY — Haley Pickard scored 19 points to lead Genoa. Katie Jensen added 14 for the Comets (4-2) and Ciara Albright added 11.

Catie Phalen paced Lake (4-2) with 19 points and Jordyn Taylor tallied 12.

Delta 62, Hilltop 52

WEST UNITY — Abbie Harris scored 16 points to lead Delta.

Bri Raab added 15 and Ravyn Mitchell had 12 for the Panthers.

Emily Armbruster paced Hilltop with 18 points.
