Yoder has big 4th quarter to key Blue Devils’ win

Springfield tops Napoleon; Northview edges BG; Hesselschwardt helps Otsego get by Woodmore

Springfield 52, Napoleon 45

Natalie Yoder scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Blue Devils to a home victory Friday night in Northern Lakes League girls basketball.

Alexa Sonnenberg led Napoleon with 15 points, and Lindsay Ferguson added 11.

Northview 45, Bowling Green 42

Kendall McCoy scored 16 points as the Wildcats (5-2, 3-2 NLL) won at home.

Maddie Cole and Kendall Jessing each added 10. Jessing added 15 rebounds. The game was tied at 36 after three quarters.

Kendall Glandorff finished with 11 points to lead the Bobcats (4-3, 2-3).

Perrysburg 82, Maumee 25

Sarah Baer led with 22 points and Jen Witt added 12, Allex Brown 11, and Lindy DeLong 10 for the Yellow Jackets (6-0).

For the Panthers (0-6), Kalena Harris had eight.

Swanton 63, Liberty Center 26

Maicie Wheeler scored 19 points for the Bulldogs (4-2, 3-0 NWOAL). Kyleigh Ramlow added 11.

Nikki Meyer led Liberty Center (0-7, 0-3) with 16 points.

Southview 63, Anthony Wayne 36

Sarah Klepzig scored 15 points to lead the Cougars to a road win.

Taryn Stanley and Emily Westphal added 14 points each for Southview.

Victoria Burdo paced Anthony Wayne with eight points.

Otsego 47, Woodmore 46

ELMORE — Abby Hesselschwardt scored 19 points, which included two free throws with 18.4 seconds left that won it for the Knights.

Morgan Smoyer added 14 points for Otsego (4-3, 2-2 NBC), which trailed 46-45 after Woodmore hit a 3-pointer with 22.4 seconds to play.

Allie Wank scored 17 points to lead the Wildcats (3-5, 2-2).

Genoa 74, Eastwood 48

GENOA — Ciarra Albright pumped in 26 points, while teammate Haley Pickard added 20 for the Comets. Katie Jensen added 11.

Emily Hayward led Eastwood with 13 points. Reagan Boice had 12 and Aubrey Peters 10.

Rossford 45, Fostoria 37

Julie Hotz scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Rossford to a home win.

Regan Clay added 12 for the Bulldogs.

Jada Hampton led Fostoria with 15 points and Erica Moore scored 11.

Evergreen 57, Delta 45

METAMORA — Haili Mossing scored 18 points for the Vikings (5-2, 2-1 NWOAL), Eden Eisel had 15 and Kendalyn Noe 11.

Brigan Wymer’s 18 points led the Panthers (4-3, 2-1).

Wauseon 59, Montpelier 31

WAUSEON — Natalie Koenig scored 18 points and Maddie Richer added 14 for Wauseon (2-4, 2-1 NWOAL).

Blake Hannah led the Locomotives (2-5, 0-3) with 12 points.

Archbold 57, Bryan 18

ARCHBOLD — Cassidy Wyse tallied 14 points and Winter Fricke added 11 to keep Archbold (8-0, 3-0 NWOAL) unbeaten.

Hannah Schimmoeller scored eight points to pace Bryan (0-4, 0-2).

Bedford 53, Saline 39

TEMPERANCE — Nicole Rightnowar scored 16 points to pace Bedford (3-1), and Rachel Lewandowski added 12.

Jen Barnes and Amanda Zylstra scored 10 points each to lead Saline.

Fayette 55, Stryker 36

FAYETTE — Kaela Seiler (13 points), Paige Keefer (11), Taylor Griffiths (11), and Alexis Fruchey (10) led a balanced attack for Fayette (6-1, 3-0 BBC).

Conner Varner scored a 23 points for Stryker (4-3, 1-2).
