Generals’ balance beats Bowling Green

Anthony Wayne 66, Bowling Green 49

BOWLING GREEN — Jaz Bonivel led the Generals (9-3, 6-2 NLL) with 14 points, while Michelle Kreig added 12, Sara Zankel 11, and Abby Allen 10 in the road win Friday night in girls basketball.

Hanna Williford finished with 14 points for the Bobcats (5-6, 3-5), who trailed 35-26 at halftime. Livvy Dill added 10.

Perrysburg 56, Northview 46

The Yellow Jackets behind the scoring of Allex Brown with 16 and Sarah Baer with 14 defend their home court.

Kendall McCoy and Maddie Cole each had 12 and Kendall Jessing 10 for the Wildcats.

Genoa 57, Rossford 52

GENOA — Ciarra Albright led Genoa with 16 points in a win over Rossford in an NBC game.

Haley Pickard added 13 for Genoa (9-3, 4-2), which led 30-21 at halftime, and held Rossford to seven points in the first quarter.

Cheyenne Davis led Rossford (7-4, 4-2) with 19 points.

Woodmore 60, Fostoria 50

FOSTORIA — The Wildcats scored the game’s first 11 points and made that lead stick for an NBC road victory.

Allie Wank and Mackenzie Johnson both scored 17 points for Woodmore (5-8, 4-2), which led 40-35 through three quarters. Johnson added 11 rebounds.

Jada Hampton finished with 17 points for Fostoria (1-8. 0-6).

Springfield 41, Southview 40

Natalie Yoder had 14 points and Mya Watkins 10 as the Blue Devils held off Southview.

Taryn Stanley tallied 18 to pace the Cougars.

Ottawa Hills 44, Maumee Valley 24

Foster Smith scored eight of her 21 points in the first quarter, when the Green Bears (6-3, 3-1) built a 14-4 lead to pull away at home in TAAC play.

Kennedie Jackson scored 10 points to lead Maumee Valley (0-7, 0-4), which trailed 27-13 at halftime.

Fayette 54, North Central 41

FAYETTE — Taylor Griffiths scored 23 points, which included three 3-pointers in the third quarter, to spark the Eagles (8-1, 4-0) in Buckeye Border Conference play at home. Kaela Seiler added 10.

Hannah Sickmeyer led North Central with 14 points. Sabrina Pickford and Cady Vandevorde both added 11.

Cardinal Stritch 56, Emmanuel Christian 27

CeCe Gozdowski led Cardinal Stritch with 16 points in a TAAC game.

Mackenzie McCauley led Emmanuel Christian with 10 points. Cardinal Stritch led Emmanuel Christian 26-5 at halftime.

Danbury 47, Northwood 23

DANBURY — Stephanie Kukay led Danbury (4-5, 2-2) with 18 points, while Megan Stephens and Cassidy Rhodes each scored eight. Danbury led 28-6 at halftime.

Dara Artino scored nine points for Northwood (1-8, 1-4 TAAC).

Lake 60, Otsego 44

MILLBURY — Alexis Hansen had 15 points and Jordyn Taylor and Catie Phalen each added 14 for Lake in a Northern Buckeye Conference game.

Otsego and Lake were tied 24-24 at halftime, but Lake used a 27-point third quarter to earn the win.

Abby Hesselschwardt led Otsego with 22 points.

Toledo Christian 64, Gibsonburg 49

Darian Westmeyer scored a game-high 22 points to lead Toledo Christian past Gibsonburg in a TAAC matchup.

Camille Gist added 21 points for Toledo Christian, which led 28-21 at halftime and scored 24 points in the third quarter.

Marisa Alvarado led Gibsonburg with 16 points.

Elmwood 70, Eastwood 32

PEMBERVILLE — Madison Sears poured in 19 points, Samantha Ervin 11 and Marissa Swavel 10 for the Royals.

Reagan Boice paced the Eagles with eight.
