Southview 48, Start 35

Taryn Stanley scored 18 points to pace host Southview in girls basketball Saturday night.

Emily Westphal added 12 for the Cougars (8-5).

Kendra Jones tallied 12 points to lead Start (7-3) and Mariah White had 10.

 

Clay 70, Bryan 58

BRYAN — Haley Hess tallied 18 points to pace the Eagles.

Morgan Connor scored 16 and Sam Enck added 15 for Clay (8-3).

Hannah Schimmoeller knocked in 32 points for the Golden Bears (2-7).

 

Bowling Green 62, Fremont Ross 33

BOWLING GREEN — Tyanna Smith finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Hanna Williford added 11 as the Bobcats (6-6) rolled at home.

Val Samson, Sam Kiser, and Zyph McDonald all scored seven points for Fremont Ross (4-4).

 

Oak Harbor 47, Port Clinton 46

OAK HARBOR — Andrea Cecil scored 24 points and Oak Harbor (9-2, 6-1 SBC) held off a late Port Clinton rally.

Emma Barney added 10 points for the Rockets.

Tiffany Colston paced Port Clinton (8-3, 5-2).

 

Elmwood 62, Van Buren 51

BLOOMDALE — The Royals (7-4) prosper behind Samantha Ervin’s 16 points, Kristen Curtis’ 14, and Marissa Swavel’s 10.

Nichole Miller had 18 and Paige Sudlow 10 for the Black Knights (1-8).

 

Montpelier 59, Monclova Christian 21

Baylee Hageman struck for 13 points and Hannah Blake added 11 for the Locomotives.

Rachel Keiser paced the Thunder with 12.

 

Old Fort 46, Maumee Valley 25

Payton Miller led all scorers with 11 for the Stockaders (9-1) as they built a 25-11 lead at the break.

The Hawks (0-8) were paced with nine points from Kennedie Jackson.
