Notre Dame tops Clay to remain unbeaten

Notre Dame 58, Clay 52

Tierra Floyd scored 22 points and host Notre Dame won in girls basketball to remain unbeaten.

Kaayla McIntyre added 17 points for the Eagles (8-0, 5-0).

Haley Hess led Clay (8-4, 3-2) with 16 points, Hannah Hess had 14 and Sam Enck 11.


Lima Senior 89, Findlay 46

FINDLAY — Rion Thompson poured in 27 points, Essence Cowan scored 19, and Indiya Benjamin 16 as Lima Senior (9-2, 3-2) cruised.

Sarah Thomas paced Findlay (1-9, 1-4) with 14 points.

 

Ottawa Hills 56, Cardinal Stritch 19

The Green Bears won on the Cardinals’ court as Allie Dewire scored 12 points and Foster Smith 11.

CeCe Gozdowski paced Stritch with 11 points.

 

Danbury 54, Gibsonburg 43

LAKESIDE — The Lakers trailed by two at the half but pulled away in the third.

Erin Lavelle scored a game-high 15 points and Stephanie Kukay had 12 for Danbury (5-5, 3-2 TAAC).

Gibsonburg (3-5, 3-2) was led by Amanda Shammo’s 14 points.

 

Boys

Pettisville 50, Stryker 48

PETTISVILLE — Tate Kauffman paced Pettisville with 14 points, Korben Rychener scored 11, and Jeremy Mann 10 as the Blackbirds edged Stryker in boys basketball.
