Byers tallies 30 for Indians; Bulldogs rally past Streaks

Wauseon 53, Liberty Center 49

WAUSEON — Corry Byers scored 30 points Friday night as the Indians held off Liberty Center in a Northwest Ohio Athletic Conference boys basketball game.

Noah Castle added 11 for the Indians (9-2, 3-0), who led 24-19 at halftime and 37-31 at the end of the third quarter.

The Tigers (5-4, 1-2) were paced by Matt Huber with 16.

Swanton 39, Archbold 36

SWANTON — The Bulldogs outscored Archbold 12-4 in the final quarter to sneak away with a win.

Bryce McComb paced Swanton (5-5, 1-2) with 17 points.

Tyson Schnitkey led Archbold (7-2, 2-1) with 10 points.

Delta 87, Montpelier 37

MONTPELIER — Noah Munger scored 21 of his 23 points by halftime as the Panthers raced to a 53-16 halftime lead and cruised on the road.

Justin Callahan added 15 points for Delta (8-1, 2-0), which had 11 players score. Nick Jones and Scott Garlinger both finished with 10 points.

Parker Houk scored nine points to lead the Locomotives (1-8, 0-3).
