Central Catholic 72, Woodward 65

DeShone Kizer pumped in a team-high 14 points to lead the Irish (9-2) past the Polar Bears (6-4) on Tuesday night in boys basketball.

Jeremiah Braswell pumped in 13 points, and Marcus Winters finished with 12 for Central.

Romoan Sane led the Polar Bears with a 23 points. Baijour Whittington and Craig Kirkwood finished with 12 apiece while Tahron Watson had 10.

Rogers 93, Start 61

Brandon Austin poured in a game-high 24 points to lead four Rams in double figures in a City League matchup.

Taqauris Belcher scored 18 points, Daeshawn Jackson 14, and Antoine Williams 11 for Rogers (4-3, 3-0 CL).

Richie Linn paced the Spartans (1-9, 0-3) with 19 points, and Jerron Grant added 13.

Bowsher 79, Cardinal Stritch 41

The Rebels (8-1) won a road win behind the scoring of Dejuan King (24), Nate Allen (19), Cam White (15), and Jason Sandridge (12).

Austin Pratt had 12 and Austin Adams 11 for the Cardinals (5-5). Cardinal Stritch did not get to the free throw line.

St. Francis 54, Waite 39

The Knights raced out to a 19-4 advantage after one quarter during a runaway road win.

Lamar Carswell and Jake Lang led the way for St. Francis (3-8) with 13 points each.

Phillip Darrington tallied 17 points for Waite (5-6).

Northview 54, Southview 52

The Wildcats (3-8, 2-4 NLL), down by 11 at halftime, came alive during the second half, dominating the fourth quarter by a 19-9 margin to come away with the upset at home.

Adam Downing’s steal and basket with 12 seconds left provided Northview with the margin of victory. The Cougars missed a 3-point attempt at the buzzer.

Aerin West topped the Wildcats with 17 points, with Downing adding 11.

Nate Hall’s 17 points led Southview (7-3, 3-3), while Justin Schaffer contributed 16.

Rossford 77, Genoa 47

Brian Burks and Derek Mack scored 15 points each to lead Rossford (8-4) to a home win.

Cota Sinclair added 11 for the Bulldogs, and Marty Linthicum had 10.

Luke Rightnowar scored 16 points for Genoa (4-7). Casey Gose added 10.

Toledo Christian 45, Swanton 35

SWANTON — Ian Gibson scored 19 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and led the Eagles (5-6) to a road win.

Bryce McComb scored 15 points for the Bulldogs (5-7), and Clayton Ringle added 12.

Eastwood 68, Elmwood 41

BLOOMDALE — Zach Jacoby tallied 16 points to lead Eastwood (7-4).

Jordon Faykosh scored 14 points, and Grant Peters had 12 for the Eagles.

Aaron Arnold led Elmwood (1-9) with 13 points and Tayte Lentz had 11.

Oak Harbor 54, Lakota 26

KANSAS — Ben Cochran scored 12 points to pace Oak Harbor (4-9) as 10 Rockets players scored.

Colin Timmons tallied 12 points for Lakota (4-8).

Ypsilanti 48, Bedford 47

TEMPERANCE — Ypsilanti held on to win on the road after the Mules’ heave at the buzzer missed the mark.

Corey Allen led Ypsilanti (7-1, 4-0 SEC Red) with 14 points, and Jalen Harmon added 10.

Adam Swisher and Dylan Barr both scored 13 points for the Mules (3-3, 1-2), who also got 10 points from Jeremy Harris.

Adrian Madison 47, Whiteford 43

At Whiteford, Brandon Davis scored 13 points and Colin Slates 12 to lead Madison (4-3).

Colin Lake paced the Bobcats (4-2) with 17 points and eight steals.
