Panthers edge Bulldogs with big fourth quarter

Delta 76, Swanton 75

DELTA — The Panthers outscored the Bulldogs 26-18 in the fourth quarter to secure a come-from-behind win Friday night in Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball.

Delta (10-1, 3-0 NWOAL) led 23-16 after the first quarter, but Swanton outscored the Panthers 41-27 during the next two quarters for a 57-50 lead going into the fourth.

Noah Munger scored 18 points to lead Delta. Justin Callahan and Scott Garlinger added 14 each. Ethan Edwards had 11.

Clayton Ringle poured in 30 points for Swanton (5-8, 1-3). Bryce McComb tallied 20 points, Robbie Gilsdorf 11, and Thomas Bryant 10.

Liberty Center 45, Evergreen 30

LIBERTY CENTER — Logan Meyer scored 14 points for the Tigers, who (7-4, 2-2) rode a 17-6 first-quarter edge to a victory.

Logan Pinkelman and Kyle Brighton scored 10 points each to pace the Vikings (7-3, 1-2).

Bryan 80, Montpelier 34

BRYAN — Five Golden Bears (6-5, 3-1) finished in double figures, led by Sean Culler’s 17 points.

Kyle Rupp and Thomas Martin added 12 each, while Jason Hug and Austin Schimmoeller had 10 each. Nate McCord led Montpelier (1-10, 0-4) with 13 points.
