Bowsher, Whitmer pick up wins

Bowsher 86, Waite 55

Cam White and Nate Allen combined for 42 points to lead the Rebels (11-1, 4-0 CL) streaking past the Indians in boys basketball.

White led the way with 22 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Allen added 20, including four treys.

Phillip Barrington scored a team-best 16 points for Waite (5-9, 1-3), and Taywyn Mason added.

Whitmer 62, St. Francis 60

DJ Triplett’s 17 points and Montreese Collins’ 15 helped the Panthers (5-8, 4-4) escape with a road overtime win in TRAC play.

The Knights (3-10, 1-7) forced overtime after Dontay Ellison, who had 15 points, hit a basket in the waning seconds. Evan Wheeler had 16 points.

Central Catholic 60, Fremont Ross 35

FREMONT — Nate Harris led the way for the Irish (11-2, 6-1 TRAC) with 13 points.

Marcus Winters and Jeremiah Braswell added 11 points for Central.

Dylan Jagodzinski scored 11 points to pace Fremont Ross (8-5, 3-4).

St. John's 77, Lima Senior 65

LIMA — Anthony Glover scored 29 points, including 15 free throws, as St. John’s won in the TRAC.

Gabe Kynard added 14 for the Titans (12-3, 8-0) and Parker Ernsthausen scored 13. Jay Thomas tallied 28 points for Lima Senior (5-7, 4-4), while Rico Staffard added 19 and Ruben Flowers had 10.

Southview 71, Bowling Green 53

BOWLING GREEN — The Cougars won comfortably, placing four players score in double figures, led by Jeremiah Roberts’ 17. Justin Schaffer added 15, Leon Eggleston 11 and J.J. Pinkney 10. Lamonta Stone paced the Bobcats with 17 points while Jackson Stewart contributed 10.

Findlay 65, Clay 29

Adam Twining's 15 points led four Trojans (11-3, 6-2 TRAC) in double figures in a road win.

Grant Niswander added 13 points for Findlay. Austin Gutting and Grant McKinniss added 10 each.

Pat Booth tallied eight points for Clay (2-12, 0-8).

Ann Arbor Skyline 81, Bedford 77

ANN ARBOR — Jeremy Harris pumped in a game-high 26 points and Brad Boss provided added 18 for the Mules in a four-overtime defeat.

Johnathan Muir-Totton led Skyline with 20 points. Chris Spaly finished with 18 points, Tristan Wilson 17, and Ian Marshall 13.

Whiteford 79, Erie Mason 64

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 25 points for Whiteford. Zach Perry added 24, and Troy Diller scored 18.

The Bobcats had a decisive edge at the foul line with a 15-1 advantage.

Jeff Banachowski paced Erie Mason with 16 points and Greg Liedel had 14.

Fayette 42, North Central 38

Chandler Sanford drained five 3-pointers and finished with 20 points to lead the Eagles to victory.

Clayton Ferguson paced North Central with 16 points.

Toledo Christian 41, Evergreen 27

METAMORA — Garshawn Paynther scored 11 points and the Eagles outscored Evergreen 18-7 in the second half.

Chad Maseman led the Vikings with seven points.

Emmanuel Christian 56, Monclova Christian 26

Emmanuel (4-7) won at home as Adam Regnier scored 11 points and Jordan Farley 10.

Gibsonburg 68, Old Fort 43

GIBSONBURG — Andrew Cantrell hit six 3-pointers on his way to 20 points for the Golden Bears.

Adam Copley added 14 for Gibsonburg and Tyler Ernsthausen scored 10.

Maison Steyer paced Old Fort with 12 points.

Napoleon 59, Anthony Wayne 50

NAPOLEON — Blake Dunbar drained five 3-pointers on his way to 22 points for the Wildcats.

Joey DeVaul added 13 points for Napoleon.

Matt Fox led Anthony Wayne with 17 points and Jake Reid had 13.

Elmwood 68, Fostoria 44

FOSTORIA — Philip Buckingham scored 13 points to lead a balanced Elmwood attack.

Jarrett Childress and Tayte Lentz added 11 each for the Royals and Deven Peter had 10.

Kobey Bemis paced Fostoria with 12 points.
