Harris tallies 40 points to lead Scott to victory

Scott 85, Woodward 45

Chris Harris poured in 40 points as the visiting Bulldogs cruised Friday night in a City League boys basketball game.

Tray Brown added 16 and Chris Darrington added 11 for Scott (11-4, 6-1), which pulled away with a 25-4 advantage in the second quarter.

Craig Kirkwood topped Woodward (9-8, 2-5) with 13 points while Ramoan Fane added 12.

Bowsher 105, Waite 80

Nate Allen poured in 31 points to lead the host Rebels.

Dajaun King added 22 points for Bowsher (15-2, 6-1). Cam White had 15, Jason Sandridge 14 and Mark Washington 10.

Guy Neal paced Waite (5-13, 1-6) with 18, while Taywyn Mason and Jeremy Pratt added 15 each.

Rogers 65, Start 60

At Rogers, the Rams took a 19-14 lead after one quarter and that ended up being the difference in a tight contest.

Rogers was led by Alejandro William's 15 points.

Cameron Copland added 13 for the Rams (8-6, 5-2), while Brandon Austin had 12 and Daeshawn Jackson 11.

Mike Mitchell poured in 26 points to pace Start (2-15, 1-7). Dequee Phillips scored 14.
