Perrysburg edges Lima Bath

BOWLING GREEN -- In the finale of the Showcase at the Stroh tonight, Perrysburg held off Lima Bath 48-38.

Perrysburg senior Sarah Baer led all scorers with 21 points. Allex Brown chipped in with 11.

The Yellow Jackets took a 20-8 lead after the first quarter, but Lima Bath outscored the Yellow Jackets 13-4 in the second. Each team scored seven points in the third quarter.

Perrysburg then clung to a one-point lead with 2:12 left when Abby Sattler hit a huge 3 pointer. The Yellow Jackets (17-2) then knocked down eight of nine free throws down the stretch. Sattler finished with seven points.

Danielle Van Dyne led Lima Bath (17-3) with 15 points.
