Clay rallies past Whitmer; Baer’s 26 points lead Perrysburg

Girls

Clay 46, Whitmer 42

Haley Hess scored 11 of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Eagles rallied to win a Three Rivers Athletic Conference girls basketball game on Thursday.

Morgan Connor added 10 for Clay (13-9, 8-6 TRAC), which outscored Whitmer 18-9 in the fourth.

Sara Semler and Shy McCarver both scored 10 for the Panthers (13-6, 7-5).

Notre Dame 78, Lima Senior 52

Four Eagles scored in double figures in a home win in the TRAC.

Kaayla McIntyre led Notre Dame (17-3, 13-1 TRAC) with 23 points, Tierra Floyd added 19, Jayda Worthy scored 16, and Mariah Copeland had 12.

Rion Thompson poured in 23 points for Lima Senior (18-4, 10-4). Essence Cowan added 11 and Indiya Benjamin scored 10.

Central Catholic 66, St. Ursula 32

At Central, Demi Russell led the way for the Irish (15-7, 9-5 TRAC) with 13 points while Keytha Foreman added 11.

Alex Richards paced St. Ursula (3-17, 0-14) with 13 points.

Fremont Ross 43, Findlay 33

FINDLAY — The Little Giants (11-8, 5-6 TRAC) won on the road as Elayna Ackerman scored 14 points and Val Samson 11.

Jacey Hardesty’s 14 points topped the Trojans (2-19, 2-12).

Bowling Green 42, Napoleon 39

NAPOLEON — Hanna Williford scored 15 points to lead the Bobcats (11-11, 5-9 NLL). Livvy Dill added 10.

Alexa Sonnenberg tallied 17 points for Napoleon (5-15, 2-12), and Lindsay Ferguson scored 10.

Springfield 56, Maumee 35

Natalie Yoder hit five 3-pointers, scored 25 points, and led the host Blue Devils (11-10, 6-8 NLL) to victory.

Kalena Harris finished with 15 points for the Panthers (1-18, 0-14).

Perrysburg 50, Anthony Wayne 20

Sarah Baer scored 26 points as the Yellow Jackets won their 30th consecutive game in the NLL. Allex Brown added 10 for Perrysburg (19-2, 14-0 NLL).

Anthony Wayne (14-6, 9-5) got nine points from Victoria Burdo.

Eastwood 48, Fostoria 45

FOSTORIA — Mackenzie Albright poured in 19 points and Reagan Boice added 13 as Eastwood (3-17, 1-13 NBC) held on.

Erica Moore paced Fostoria (1-20, 0-13) with 15 points, while Jada Hampton scored 11.

Elmwood 59, Rossford 45

BLOOMDALE — Kristen Curtis scored 16 points, Courtney Emmitt 12, and Samantha Ervin 11 as the host Royals (16-5, 13-1 NBC) won.

Kirsten Keller finished with 12 points to lead the Bulldogs (13-9, 9-5).

Genoa 60, Otsego 30

GENOA — Katie Jensen hit five 3-pointers on her way to 15 points for Genoa.

Haley Pickard added 15 of her own for the Comets (15-6, 9-4 NBC), and Ciara Albright scored 13.

Morgan Smoyer led Otsego (10-11, 7-6) with 10.

Gibsonburg 39, Maumee Valley 27

Britney Holcomb scored 14 points to lead the visiting Golden Bears (5-16, 5-8 TAAC).

Cammie Lonsway — the lone senior on Senior Night — had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Hawks (2-19, 1-10). Kennedie Jackson also scored nine.

Ottawa Hills 55, Northwood 23

Allie Dewire tallied 13 points to lead Ottawa Hills (15-4, 12-1 TAAC) on the road.

Allison Roach led Northwood (5-16, 4-9) with eight points.

Bryan 53, Patrick Henry 35

BRYAN — Hannah Schimmoeller scored 19 points and Brooke Vollmer added 16 for the Golden Bears (9-10, 4-4 NWOAL).

Bailey Brown led Patrick Henry (6-14, 2-6) with 10 points.

Oak Harbor 55, Margaretta 39

OAK HARBOR — Emma Barney scored 18 points to lead the Rockets. Andrea Cecil added 14 and Maddy Rathbun 11 for Oak Harbor (18-4, 11-3).

Alex Michel paced Margaretta with 13 points.

Hilltop 63, Fayette 61

FAYETTE — Emily Armbruster poured in 24 points to lead Hilltop. LeAnn Joost added 15 and Hannah Bliekamp had 13.

Taylor Griffiths paced Fayette with 21 points, Kaela Seiler had 17, and Paige Keefer added 10.

Lake 55, Woodmore 36

MILLBURY — Sumer Woodruff hit four 3-pointers on her way to 12 points, leading Lake (10-10, 7-6 NBC) on Wednesday night.

Jordyn Taylor added 11 points for the Flyers and Catie Phalen had 10.

Mackenzie Johnson paced Woodmore (8-13, 6-7) with 13 points, while Allie Wank provided 11.

Boys

Archbold 61, Liberty Center 35

 At Archbold, Luke Fisher scored 16 points, Tyson Schnitkey added 10, and the host Blue Streaks (14-4, 6-1 NWOAL) cruised.

The Tigers (14-6, 4-3) got 14 points from Kaleb Pohlman.
