The Central Catholic boys basketball team clinched at least a share of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys title as Jermiah Braswell scored 15 points and Marcus Winters added 11 in a 61-47 win over Lima Senior on Sunday.

Central (17-2, 12-1) went into the half with just a 32-29 lead, but the Irish, just as they did against rival St. John’s on Friday night, tightened up their defense to start the second half. Central limited the visitors to seven points in the third quarter to build a 44-36 lead and gradually pulled away in the fourth.

For the Spartans (7-13, 4-9), Jay Thomas had 17 and Rico Stafford 12.
