PEMBERVILLE — Mack Miller hit a jump shot with 1 second remaining Wednesday night to help Rossford thwart a late comeback bid from Eastwood in Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball game.
Brian Burks led the Bulldogs (14-5, 11-2 NBC) with 15 points. Miller added 13.
The Eagles (15-6, 9-4) rallied from a 41-25 deficit entering the fourth quarter to tie the game on two Grant Peters free throws with 25 second to play.
Jake Schmeltz led Eastwood with 22 points.
Detroit Western 61, St. Francis 44
The visiting Cowboys built a 28-18 halftime lead, then broke things open with an 18-6 third quarter.
Brailen Neely led Detroit Western with 13 points.
St. Francis (6-15) got a 17 points from Dontay Ellison.
