SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP

Barr scores 23 in Mules’ victory; Lake sets Whiteford career mark

Bedford 67, Monroe 47

MONROE — Dylan Barr pumped in 23 points Friday night to pace the Mules to a Southeastern Conference boys basketball victory.

Adam Swisher finished with 18 points for Bedford (12-6, 9-5 SEC), which dominated the second half 39-21.

Aaron Scheuer paced Monroe (12-6, 8-6) with 11 points, while Raynard Pouncy and Riley Wood each scored 10.

Whiteford 77, Clinton 47

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Colin Lake tallied 26 points and set the career scoring record at Whiteford.

Lake has 1,710 points to break the mark of 1,693 by Eddie Sharpe.

Zach Perry added 18 points for the Bobcats, and Troy Diller had 16.

Ryan Karapas tallied 16 points to lead Clinton, and Ryan Luzier scored 12.
