Castle leads Wauseon to win over Rossford

Wauseon 56, Rossford 49

Noah Castle scored 19 points Saturday to lead the Indians to a victory in boys basketball.

Corry Byers added 12 for Wauseon (16-6).

Derek Mack and Ryan Niese tallied 13 points each to pace Rossford (15-6).


Rogers 61, Detroit Renaissance 54

Cameron Copland scored 15 points for the host Rams (12-10). Alejandro Williams added 13, Fadil Robinson 14, and Brandon Austin 11.

Renaissance (12-6) got 16 from Justin Turner.


Swanton 61, Genoa 43

GENOA — Bryce McComb struck for 29 points to pace the Bulldogs (11-10).

Luke Rightnowar had 21 for the Comets (9-13).


Emmanuel Christian 55, Temple Christian 54

MANSFIELD — Aaron Scheiderer scored two with two seconds left and finished with 20 points to propel Emmanuel to a regional final victory in the Ohio Christian School State Tournament.

Jordan Farley added 19 points for Emmanuel (7-15).

Josh Grover’s 14 points paced Temple Christian (14-6).


Lake 71, Northwood 34

The Flyers took an early lead and never looked back in a win.

Cody Witt led Lake (21-1) with 14 points, and Jared Reddick had 10.

Dillon Catchers had 10 points for Northwood (1-21).
