WAITE 62, SOUTHVIEW 59

The Indians overcame a 13-point halftime deficit behind a 22-point effort from Mohammad Almajzoub to defeat Southview in boys basketball action on Saturday.

Mark Randall scored 13 and Carl Banks 12 for Waite (4-5).

Southview (6-4) was led by Will Wooddall, who scored 16. Jason Johnson added 11 and Ryan Fries scored 10.

ROGERS 65, ROSSFORD 44

Christian Smith scored 23 points, Vonte Middleton added 12, and the Rams (4-3) pulled away at home, dominating the fourth 27-14.

Matt Fuerst led Rossford (8-3) with 12 points.

BOWSHER 84, CLEVELAND JOHN HAY 56

The Rebels had 11 players score and five in double figures during a lopsided win.

Dalonte Brown (16), Bryce Mitchell (14), Antonio Carter (12), LJ Rayford (12), and Darryl Robinson (11) carried Bowsher (6-4).

Nate Martin’s 18 points led the way for John Hay (6-3).

ASHLAND 58, WHITMER 56

ASHLAND — Griffin Gerwig banked home a game-winning shot with five seconds left to give Ashland the win.

Gerwig scored 14 points, and John Wolfe led the Arrows (7-2) with 19 points. Garrett Denbow added 18 points.

Derrick Rayford led Whitmer (6-4) with 19 points. Avion Franklin pitched in with 15.

SANDUSKY 74, FREMONT ROSS 54

FREMONT — Jayreese Williams scored 38 points, powering Sandusky (8-3) to a road win. Brandon Trolio led the Little Giants (2-8) with 24.

NAPOLEON 61, WAYNE TRACE 59

NAPOLEON — Brett Lauf scored 22 points, Reid Sonnenberg 14, and Landon Willeman 12 as the Wildcats won at home. Ethan Linder led Wayne Trace with 22 points. Jake Kuhn added 15.

WAUSEON 58, ANTHONY WAYNE 33

WAUSEON — The Indians’ defense held Anthony Wayne to 12 by halftime in its easy victory. Austin Rotroff led Wauseon with 13 points and Brooks Gype added 12.

Anthony Wayne was paced by Braden Wornack’s 13.

HOPEWELL-LOUDON 46, WOODMORE 43

BASCOM — Late free throws sealed the game for Hopwell-Loudon after Woodmore cut it to 43-41 with 43 seconds left.

Hopewell-Loudon (9-1) was led by Gauge Sadler, who made four 3-pointers and scored 16.

Derek Wank led Woodmore (3-7) with 17 points.

OTSEGO 53, SWANTON 52

SWANTON — Paul Glassford scored winning basket with 10 seconds to play, lifting the Knights (6-4) on the road. He finished with 11 points, and Will Varner had 13.

Gunnar Oakes led Swanton (3-7) with 28 points. Duyone Goings added 11.

AYERSVILLE 75, MONTPELIER 63

DEFIANCE — Jacob Miller scored 22 points, Trace Lawson 15, and Ethan Schlachter 14 as Ayersville won at home.

Kolden Uribes led the Locomotives with 24 points. Michael Blake added 16.

OAK HARBOR 74, PORT CLINTON 51

PORT CLINTON — Isaiah Jefferson and Tate Smith combined to score 37 points as visiting Oak Harbor won.

Jefferson scored 20. Smith added 17 for the Rockets (3-6).

Port Clinton (1-8) was led by Dean Colston with 16 points.

BRYAN 60, TINORA 33

DEFIANCE — Bryan shot out of the gates to a 14-4 lead and didn’t look back at Tinora.

Jaiden Valderas led the Golden Bears (7-4) with 12 points, and Peyton Lamberson and Cole Arthur both scored 11. Tinora (2-9) was led by Conor Gilbert’s 12.

ARCHBOLD 53, FAIRVIEW 39

SHERWOOD — Rigo Ramos led the way with 14 points, and two of his teammates were in double figures as Archbold improved to 7-2.

Kaiden Bedsole scored 12 and Bryce Williams had 11 for the Blue Streaks.

PETTISVILLE 48, NORTH CENTRAL 41

PETTISVILLE — Gabe Beck scored 11 points as Pettisville defeated North Central.

North Central was led by Josh Roesener who had 13.

Pettisville was 16 of 30 on free throws. Dillon King scored nine points.
