Girls basketball: Northwood earns first win of season

In a battle of winless teams, Northwood prevailed 24-20 over Woodward thanks to aggressive defense and a balanced scoring ledger, which was topped by Corey Fry’s 10 points. The Rangers, who improved to 1-9, won despite scoring just seven second-half points.

Just three players scored for the 0-9 Polar Bears, who were  led by Khaliyah Turner’s seven points.
