Girls Basketball: Santoro sisters help Bellevue roll past Start

Casey Santoro scored 22 points, including 12 free throws, as the Redmen beat the Spartans in a nonleague game.

Cory Santoro added 13 points for Bellevue (18-0).

Alysia Easley led the Start (10-8) with 13 points.

BOWLING GREEN 61, WAUSEON 44

WAUSEON — Audrey Lerch finished with 19 points as the Bobcats beat the Indians in a nonleague game.

Kenzy Bowers added 14 points and Lexi Kisor had 10 for Bowling Green.

Rylee Campbell led Wauseon with 20 points.

EASTWOOD 53, NORTHWOOD 7

PEMBERVILLE — Jamie Schmeltz led the Eagles (15-5) with 16 points in a nonleague win against the Rangers.

Hannah Limes (12 points) and Kelley Turk (10) finished in double figures for the Eagles. 

Sarah Frey paced Northwood (1-17) with five points. 

PORT CLINTON 40, ROSSFORD 34

PORT CLINTON — Erin Hiller scored 15 points to lead the Redskins to a nonleague win against the Bulldogs.

Delayna Laurel had 10 points for Port Clinton.

EMMANUEL CHRISTIAN 38, MONTPELIER 27

Sydney McCauley and Olivia Pollock each had 15 points to lead the Warriors to a nonleague win against the visiting Locomotives.

Emmanuel Christian (7-12) had a 20-14 halftime lead and coasted from there.

Jaelyn Lyons had 19 points to lead Montpelier (8-10).

EVERGREEN 31, OTTAWA HILLS 24

METAMORA — Hannah Herr had 10 points as the Vikings beat the Green Bears in a nonleague contest.

Kelsie Komisarek had eight points for Evergreen (6-10).

Mary Shawaker led Ottawa Hills (8-11) with eight points.

LIBERTY CENTER 58, FAYETTE 27

FAYETTE — Meghan Skeens scored a game-high 16 points as the Tigers beat the host Eagles in nonleague play.

Sydni Altman finished with 10 points for Liberty Center.

Trista Fruchey had seven points for Fayette.

OTTAWA-GLANDORF 66, PATRICK HENRY 32

OTTAWA — Ashley Schroeder scored 16 points as the Titans beat the Patriots in a nonleague game.

Carri Johnson added 12 points and Kadie Hempfling had 11 for Ottawa-Glandorf.

Callie Seedorf led Patrick Henry with eight points.

MILLER CITY 48, VAN BUREN 42

VAN BUREN — Kylie Burner scored 14 points to help Miller City to victory.

Mady Parker scored 15 points and Zoe Horne had 11 for Van Buren.
