HURON - Junior Tyler Riley shot a 71 and teammates Rich Kramer and Jason Taylor both carded 82 at Sawmill Creek Golf Club yesterday as Findlay won its third straight Great Lakes League golf tournament.
Riley also was GLL tourney medalist as a freshman, when he shot a 74.
Steven Drake's 83 rounded out the scoring for the Trojans, who totaled 318, 30 shots better than second-place Fremont Ross' 348. Whitmer (349) and Clay (350) were third and fourth, respectively.
The tournament victory also gave Findlay the overall GLL title with 25 points. Whitmer (15) was second and Fremont Ross (14) third.
The GLL first team includes Riley, Kramer, Taylor, Drew Russell (80) of Fostoria, Kevin Vassar (81) of Fremont, Sandusky's Tom Felter (82) and Clay's Justin Thomas (82).
