Quintin Mitchell had his eighth double-double of the season as he finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead Libbey past Waite 81-55 last night.
The Cowboys jumped out to a 20-12 first-quarter lead and never trailed as they kept pace with St. John s Jesuit for the City League lead.
Nate Miles hit all five of his 3-point attempts and had a game-high 24 points. Jerome Pierce added 16 points for Libbey (12-4, 9-1).
Darrion Griffin led Bowsher (3-13, 1-9) with 16 points, while King Wilson scored 14.
Twelve players hit the scoring column for the Irish (11-6, 5-5), with Zack Hartle and Sam Bastian leading the way with 16 points apiece.
Bastian also pulled down eight rebounds.
Robert Barner and Kevin McNally each tallied 12 points for the Polar Bears (3-14, 1-11).
