Hoehner paces Bowling Green boys

Bowling Green remained unbeaten last night with a 72-54 Northern Lakes League boys basketball victory at Anthony Wayne.

Ryan Hoehner led the Bobcats with 27 points, Blaise Markey had 11 and Brandon Radabaugh had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Kris Koval led Anthony Wayne with 17 points.

Hoehner scored 13 of BG's 22 points from the foul line where AW was 6-of-14. BG also outrebounded AW 40-30.

PERRYSBURG 71,

SOUTHVIEW 43

Scott Perkins scored 20 points and visiting Perrysburg led 43-16 by halftime. Andrew Wood and Ricky Heber added 14 apiece and Ian Milne had 10. Devin Simon led Southview with 11.

MAUMEE 58,

SPRINGFIELD 51

Kipp Dawson went 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to help Maumee hold off visiting Springfield.

Lamonte Dawson led the Panthers with 19 points, Kipp Dawson added 15 and Joey Albright had 11. Fletcher Noble paced Springfield with 15 and Brad Zarembski had 12.

Northview took advantage of 31 turnovers by the home team and got 18 points from Sam Myers, 13 from Derek Andrzejczak and 10 from Matt Wade. Kevin Cox had 10 for Rossford.

ROGERS 71, ADRIAN 60

ADRIAN, Mich. - London Cunningham scored 20 points and Deron Williams added 12 to pace Rogers. Lee Tabb had nine points and 10 rebounds.

FREMONT ROSS 59,

Adam Gries scored 12 points and visiting Fremont Ross opened the third quarter on a 10-2 run and the fourth on an 8-0 spurt.

Ryne Smith led Whitmer with 16 and Kevin Koger added 10.

OTSEGO 49, DELTA 38

DELTA - Casey Donald scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to pace Otsego, which outscored the Panthers 24-13 in the period. Dustin Chase paced Delta with 10 points.

WOODMORE 50,

OAK HARBOR 48

ELMORE - Carl Smith had 17 points and 13 rebounds to pace Woodmore. Derek Speaker added 13 points. Tom Laderach scored 15, Kevin Missig 12 and Jim Vasill 11 for Oak Harbor.

EVERGREEN 52, LAKE 40

METAMORA - Andrew Pinkelman had 20 points and eight rebounds for Evergreen (3-2). Corey Truckor added 10 points.

Bryan Conley led Lake (2-2) with 13 points and Cody McPherson had 10 points and eight rebounds.

MAUMEE VALLEY 67,

Chris Sackmann had 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for Maumee Valley, and Nathan Stern added 10 points. Kris Benefiel had 15 and Walker Behan 14 for Emmanuel Baptist.

Scott Smith led Northwood with 22 points and Michael Waddell added 10 off the bench.

GIBSONBURG - Derek Wasserman hit five treys in six attempts on the way to 24 points and Nathan Kirwen added 13 points for Gibsonburg (4-1).

DEXTER, Mich. - Jordan Bollin scored 14 for Bedford, which trailed 17-2 at the half.

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - Josh Dupree scored 13 points and Travis Rombach and Mitch Frazier had 10 apiece, but Whiteford fell short despite a 27-12 advantage in the fourth quarter.

ERIE, Mich. - Gibraltar Carlson outscored Erie Mason 28-13 in the second half. Brandon Lewis scored 12 and Austin Lipowski had 11 for Erie Mason.

VAN BUREN - Brooke Morgart paced Elmwood with 17 points.

GENOA 61, SPRINGFIELD 57

GENOA - Mallory Imbery and Britany Darling scored 18 points each for Genoa while Morgan Coulter had 18 and Kelcee Gwodz 15 for Springfield.

NEW RIEGEL 52, LAKOTA 30

KANSAS - Jamie Depinet led New Riegel with 13 points and Kati Feick had 11 for Lakota.

LAKESIDE - Sarah Kovach and Kim Zura scored 11 points each for Danbury. Casza Rhodes led Woodmore with 12.

DEFIANCE - Dee Dee Hillman had 13 points for Defiance while Archbold got 17 from Erin Buehrer.
