Delta gets home win; Knights dump 'Cats

DELTA 53, EVERGREEN 40

DELTA -- A quartet of players reached double figures for the Panthers in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League boys basketball home win over the Vikings.

Blake Green led Delta (3-1, 2-0 NWOAL) with 13 points. Micah Mohr added 12 while both Ryan Callahan and Scott Garlinger had 11.

Cory Mossing had eight points for Evergreen.

 

OTSEGO 44, WOODMORE 39

TONTOGANY -- The host Knights outscored Woodmore 18-10 in the fourth quarter to claim the come-from-behind victory.

A.C. Limes had 18 points, including 10 in the final period, to lead Otesgo (3-1, 1-1 Northern Buckeye Conference).

Don Bowen had 18 to lead the Wildcats (2-2, 1-1).

 

EASTWOOD 51, GENOA 36

PEMBERVILLE -- Cody Jennings scored 15 points and the Eagles defense managed to shackle the Comets.

Jake Schmeltz scored 11 and Jacob Faykosh had 10 for Eastwood (2-1, 2-0 NBC).

Joey Newlend scored 11 for Genoa (1-2, 0-2) while Devin Sibby had 10.

 

PETTISVILLE 50, EDON 25

EDON -- The visiting Blackbirds got 14 points from David Reyes and 11 from Aaron King to post the win.

Keegan Long had 12 to lead the Bombers.

 

STRYKER 36, FAYETTE 30

STRYKER -- Conner Frey scored 13 points as the Panthers won at home.

Trevor Cox scored 12 points for Fayette (2-2, 1-1 Buckeye Border Conference).

 

FREMONT ST. JOSEPH 62, BETTSVILLE 43

BETTSVILLE -- The visitors used a full-court press to outscore Bettsville 21-6 in the third quarter and pull away for the win.

Connor Dudley scored 16 points to lead three players in double figures for Fremont St. Joseph (3-1, 2-0 Midland Athletic League). Jordan Sessler had 15 and Zach Yeckley 14 for the Crimson Streaks.

Dominic Miccichi finished with 12 points, Dominic King 11 and Taylor Blausey 10 for the Bobcats (1-3, 1-1).

 

TIFFIN CALVERT 84, NORTH BALTIMORE 30

NORTH BALTIMORE -- Matt Frank and Nick Warnement combined for 50 points to carry the Senecas to the road win.

Frank hit nine 3-pointers and finished with 29 points while Warnement had 21 for Tiffin Calvert (4-0).

Evan North had 13 points to lead North Baltimore (0-3).

 

NEW RIEGEL 78, St. WENDELIN 35

NEW RIEGEL -- Cody Kinn had 18 points, Ryan Schalk 14 and Brandyn Reinhart 13 to lead the Blue Jackets (3-0, 2-0 MAL).

 

ARCHBOLD 57, BRYAN 40

BRYAN -- The Blue Streaks led by just one point after three quarters but outscored the Golden Bears 20-4 in the final quarter.

Junior Tyson Dietrich led Archbold with 14 points. Luke Kammeyer scored 11 points and Zeb Frank added 11 for the visiting Blue Streaks.

Adam McBride led all scorers with 17 points for Bryan. Austin Schimmoeller chipped in with 12 points for the Golden Bears.

Dietrich and Kammeyer each had six rebounds for Archbold. Frank knocked down three 3-pointers.

Bryan's Liam Phillips had 12 rebounds.

 

SWANTON 50, LIBERTY CENTER 31

LIBERTY CENTER -- Travis Hilton paced the Bulldogs with 18 points.

Konner Pohlman led the Tigers with eight.
