Coach: Bryan Miller, fourth year

Last season: 7-3, 5-3 NWOAL

Returning letter winners: 18

Returning starters: Offense 6, defense 5

Schemes: Spread/4-3

Top players: Seniors Tyson Dietrich, 6-3, 210, WR-DE; Jay Miller, 6-0, 170, WR-DB; Tyson Lersch, 5-10, 170, WR-LB; Darin Sauder, 5-10, 180, OL-DL; Zach Zimmerman, 6-2, 230, OL-DL; Dylan Lantz, 5-9, 185, OL-DE. Juniors Evan Wyse, 5-11, 180, QB-LB; Lee Klinger, 5-10, 250, OL-DL.

Outlook: The Blue Streaks figure as one of the frontrunners to win the NWOAL championship.

With a roster that includes 18 returning letter winners, they're an experienced team. Archbold presents good all-around size, speed and experience. Miller is working with a group led by nine experienced seniors.

Evan Wyse returns as one of the top offensive threats in the league. He passed for a league-best 1,626 yards after completing 113 of 176 pass attempts. He also rushed for 634 yards on 97 carries, and scored a team-leading 10 touchdowns. Dietrich completed 43 of 73 passes for 529 yards.

"We've had another strong summer in the weight room," said Miller, whose record is 24-8 in three seasons. "Our kids have put in a lot of time and effort and are highly motivated. We have a lot of potential. As always, we will need to stay healthy and must have young guys step into their new varsity roles."
