Whiteford tops Summerfield 40-26

Whiteford 40, Summerfield 26

Whiteford used a big night from Colin Lake and Brian Tabbert to top host Summerfield.

Lake rushed for 155 yards on 21 carries and a six yard touchdown run. Tabbert scored three touchdowns on runs of 1, 4 and 25 yards. The Bobcats (5-1) scored 18 points in the fourth quarter to ensure the victory.

Lucas Diver threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns for Summerfield (4-2) and also scored on a one yard run. Steve Schankin caught both touchdown passes from Diver on strikes from 14 and 12 yards out.
