Wildcats get by Blue Devils

Whitmer, AW roll to wins; Swanton prevails in 2OT

Northview 51, Springfield 46

Kendall Jessing and Kendall McCoy led the Northview girls basketball team Tuesday night on the road in Northern Lakes League play.

Jessing scored 17 points for Northview (7-6, 6-4), while McCoy added 16.

Natalie Yoder poured in 20 points and Sydney Powhida added 10 for Springfield (7-9, 2-8).

Whitmer 44, Evergreen 29

The Panthers owned the third quarter by a 16-4 margin as they won at home and improved to 10-4 this season. Keshyra McCarver topped Whitmer with 19 points.

Haili Mossing paced Evergreen with 11.

Anthony Wayne 49, Napoleon 26

Lauren Cardinal posted 11 points and Megan Bedard 10 for the Generals.

Lindsay Ferguson led the Wildcats with eight.

Toledo Christian 51, Fremont St. Joseph 33

Faith Johnson scored 18 points and Darian Westmeyer added 12 points to lead the Eagles (11-2) to a home win.

Cassidy Frank paced Fremont St. Joseph (5-9) with 13 points.

Swanton 59, Pettisville 57

SWANTON — Bethann Lumbrezer hit 10 field goals and scored a game-high 25 points as the Bulldogs prevailed in double overtime.

Swanton (6-7) forced the first overtime after Megyn Christensen sank three free throws with 1.8 seconds left in regulation. Lumbrezer hit a jumper at the buzzer to force a second overtime. Swanton took control after that.

Lauren Hostetler led the Blackbirds (8-4) with 14 points. Mikala Avina added 12.

Fayette 73, Hicksville 38

FAYETTE — Kaela Seiler scored 14 points as Fayette cruised. Taylor Griffiths scored 11 points and Ashtyn Baker added 10 points for the Eagles.

McKenzie Gonwick led Hicksville with 15 points.

Ottawa-Glandorf 80, Liberty Center 37

Niki Ellerbrook scored 12 points to lead Ottawa-Glandorf to an easy home win. Jill Rosselit added 10 points as 13 players scored for Ottawa-Glandorf.

Niki Meyer paced Liberty Center with 19 points.

Sandusky St. Marys 57, Danbury 39

LAKESIDE — Dani Parish scored 19 points to lead Sandusky St. Marys. Natalie Colavincenzo added 11 and Hannah Snow 10 for St. Marys.

Megan Stephens scored 12 points to pace Danbury.

Hilltop 75, Fairview 39

WEST UNITY — Sam Lillemon scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Cadets cruised to victory.

Cierra Carpenter had 10 points and 10 assists for Hilltop, which led 47-15 at halftime. Hannah Bleikamp scored 14 points and Jackie Smith added 13.

Emilee Carder finished with 13 points to lead Fairview.
