Port Clinton's Meek fourth at Division II state swimming meet

Port Clinton’s Cheyenne Meek placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with at time of 23.69 seconds and fifth in the 100 free (51.7) at the Division II state swimming and diving championships last week in Canton.

Genoa’s Bailey Dipman earned a fifth place in 1-meter diving.

Dipman, who was also fifth last year, posted a score of 408.20.

Napoleon’s Makenzie Garringer finished seventh (56.93) in the 100 butterfly.

In the boys competition, Napoleon’s Tim Pelltier finished fifth in 1-meter diving with a 390.70.

Bowling Green’s Peter Burroughs was seventh in the 100 breaststroke (59.54).
