Two local players had standout efforts at the the 68th annual OHSFCA North-South Classic all-star games Saturday at Dayton's Welcome Stadium.
Nick Holley of Whitmer helped the North to a 33-27 victory in the Division I-III game.
Holley gained 68 yards rushing on 11 carries and scored a touchdown. The quarterback led Whitmer to the Division I state championship game last fall.
In the Divisions IV-VI game, Ottawa Hills kicker Michael Geiger helped the North win 27-24 with a 54-yard, game-deciding field goal.
Geiger, who will attend Michigan State, was named the North offensive most valuable player.
