Eastwood track wins Division II regional

LEXINGTON, Ohio - Pemberville Eastwood won the the 1,600 relay - the final event of the day - to win the Division II Region 6 championship with 55 points, 11 ahead of Sandusky Perkins and and 12 ahead of Van Wert.

Boosted by Michaela Butler’s wins in the 100 and 200 dashes, Liberty-Benton won the girls team title with 65 points, ahead of Celina (53.33) and Coldwater (49), Ottawa-Glandorf (44.33), Wauseon (44) and Napoleon (40) today at Lexington High School.

The top four individuals in each event advance to the state championships next weekend at Ohio State.
