Game 1: Bedford topped Kennedy 3-1 in a regional baseball semifinal.
The Kicking Mules, who received a strong outing from starter Jackson Lamb, will play Belleville later today for a trip to state.
Lamb allowed four hits and struck out six in seven innings. He walked six.
Joshua Strickland broke open the game in the top of the seventh with a two-run single to go up 3-0.
Dennis Guss had a RBI single in the third for Bedford.
Game 2: Bedford beat Belleville 1-0 to win a regional baseball title and advance to the state quarterfinal.
The Kicking Mules will play Tuesday in East Lansing.
Kyle Kuhr picked up the win, going all seven innings and allowing four hits. He struck out two.
Bedford (30-7) scored in the top of the second when Lucas Mayo singled home Jonathan Shepherd.
