Unbeaten Golden Bears thrash Panthers

Bryan 39, Delta 6

BRYAN — Daniel Pendergrast racked up 126 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries as the Golden Bears rolled to Northwest Ohio Athletic League victory on Friday night.

Austin Schimmoeller ran for scores from 22 and 12 yards out, and he completed 6 of 13 passes for 101 yards and a one touchdown, a 67-yard strike to Sean Culler.

Brandon Dean completed 3 of 6 passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns — the first to Brandon Poncsak (35 yards) and the second to Jake Jones (28).

Dylan scored the lone TD for Delta (2-1, 1-1 NWOAL) with an 85-yard kickoff return.

Bryan (3-0, 2-0) led in total offense 412-196.

 

Patrick Henry 49, Montpelier 7

MONTPELIER — Patrick Henry (2-1, 2-0) got 200 yards on 15 carries from Tobey Hernandez, who scored on runs of 4, 51, 9, and 42 yards.

Derek Kolpein was 12-of-14 passing for 164 yards and had TD completions 31, 7, and 15 yards, all to Kollin Spence. The Locomotives (1-2, 0-2) got a nine-yard TD run from Keegan Hitzeman.

 

Archbold 56, Fairview 15

ARCHBOLD — Evan Wyse ran for 99 yards and four touchdowns and was 15-of-19 passing for 207 yards to lead the Blue Streaks (2-1). He scored on runs of 1, 20, 3, and 32 yards. Levi Wyse added a 66-yard scoring run.

Timmy Timbrook had 122 yards, including a 24-yard scoring run, for the Apaches (1-2).

 

Liberty Center 47, Evergreen 13

METAMORA — Anthony Righi ran 14 times for 108 yards and three TDs.

Konnor Pohlman scored for LC (3-0, 2-0) on a 41-yard pass from Kaleb Pohlman, who also connected on a 54-yard TD pass to Adam Jones. Kaleb Pohlman, whose only two completions were for TDs, added a 55-yard TD run.

Levi Frysinger added a 47-yard TD run for LC, which controlled total yards 409-151.

Garret Willeman finished with 70 yards and a TD on 22 carries for Evergreen (0-3, 0-2).
