After spotting visiting Whitmer a 14-0 lead less than six minutes into the game, Central Catholic rallied for three touchdowns on passes from quarterback DeShone Kizer in the second and third quarters to take a 21-14 victory in Three Rivers Athletic Conference football Friday night before a crowd of over 7,000 at Gallagher Stadium.

Kizer then found Winters on a game-deciding 79-yard TD pass with 8:21 left in the third quarter as Central moved to 4-0 overall, 1-0 TRAC.

Whitmer dropped to 1-3, 0-1.

The Panthers got two TD passes from sophomore quarterback Matt Winzeler to Chris Boykin (69 and 15 yards) in the games first 5:28.
