Central Catholic upends visiting Findlay

Central Catholic 53, Findlay 35

Alyssa Galernick poured in a game-high 15 points to lead the Irish in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference girls basketball matchup on Tuesday.

Michelle Murnen and Demi Russell provided support with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Jacey Hardesty and Sarah Thomas scored 11 points eaach for the Trojans.

Maumee 65, Northwood 29

KaLena Harris led all scorers with 21 points, helping the Panthers quickly pull away after a two-point halftime lead. Abbi Schultz added 11 points.

Alex Rable finished with 11 points for the Rangers.

Emmanuel Christian 40, Monclova Christian 34

Ceonna Simon scored a game-high 13 points to lead the way to the victory.

Michelle Dunne added 10 points for EC.

Rachael Keiser led Monclova Christian with 12 points.

Otsego 62, Rossford 58

TONTOGANY — The Knights’ Abby Hesselschwardt poured in 24 points and was aided by Lindsey Donald with 14 and Morgan Smoyer with 12 and eight blocks in a triple-overtime victory.

The Bulldogs were paced by Kirsten Keller with 19, Julie Hotz with 17, and Cheyanne Davis with 12.

Elmwood 38, Woodmore 34

ELMORE — The Royals were able to capture a road win in the final minute.

Tiffany Hillard made a three-point play to grab the lead with 39 seconds left. She paced the Royals with 12 points.

Allie Wank had 15 for the Wildcats.

Bowling Green 59, Woodward 56

Hanna Williford delivered a game-high 19 points and Livvy Dill scored 15 to lead the Bobcats past the Polar Bears. Kendal Glandorff added 10 points for BG.

K’Shawna Barnett scored 14 points and Asionna Alfred added 10 for Waite.

Genoa 73, Fostoria 25

GENOA — The Comets (11-4, 5-3) had an easy time as Haley Pickard scored 18 points, Erica Harder 16, Ciarra Albright 12, and Katie Jensen 11.

The Redmen (1-12, 0-8) were led by Jada Hampton with 14.

Lake 71, Eastwood 45

PEMBERVILLE — Catie Phalen poured in 23 points, including five 3-pointers for Lake. Jordyn Taylor added 12 points for the Flyers.

Mackenzie Albright paced Eastwood with 12 points, and Reagan Boice scored 11.

Patrick Henry 64, Miller City 41

MILLER CITY — The Patriots (2-11) flourished behind Kristin Bostleman with 14 points and Katie Wagner with 10.

For the Wildcats (1-13), Cassie Niese had 16.
