The villa at 7862 Braeburn in Holland is listed at $275,000. This villa and two others will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or you may view the home by appointment by calling Matt Doyle at 419-865-8997 or 419-290-0873.
Doyle Development is in the process of creating a new neighborhood. Located in Holland, Ohio, in Apple Blossom Farms, there are villas on a cul de sac; another 64 are planned.
One of these is our featured home, but all four are available. The featured villa, at 7862 Braeburn, has an exterior that is stucco, vinyl and brick, with rusticated stone accents. The driveway and walkway are both poured concrete.
Step through the front door with sidelights to the gracious foyer. A vaulted ceiling and tile floor telegraphs instantly that this is a quality home. To the left is the door to the two and a half car garage. Straight ahead is the staircase to the basement, and beyond that, the great room. To the right is a room that could be used as a den, office, or a bedroom.
The foyer acts as a center hall, from which nearly all other rooms are accessed. A second bedroom off this hall to the left has a double closet, and a ceiling fan here provides a gentle breeze. These bedrooms share a full bath with a Gibraltar counter atop a cherry vanity.
There is also a commodious utility room. A countertop and sink here are perfect for pre-soaking and folding laundry, and the cabinets provide space for storing laundry soaps and craft items.
The great room is a comfortable space with a commanding stone fireplace that leads up to the vaulted ceiling. The tile hearth and wood mantel complete the picture.
The kitchen is open to the great room. The cherry cabinets with crown molding and granite-look Gibraltar countertops look marvelous against the GE stainless appliances. A peninsula with snack bar offers extra dining space, and a large pantry provides extra storage. Lighting is provided by a lovely brushed nickel fixture and under-cabinet lighting. The tile floor makes clean-up a breeze.
Also in the great room is space for dining, with a lovely brushed nickel light fixture.
Nearby is the sunroom. A vaulted ceiling here provides plenty of angles for the light to play off, and a ceiling fan keeps this sunny spot cool. Large casement windows allow plenty of light, and a door here leads to the poured concrete patio. Imagine placing your grill here -- and enjoying a steak in the nearby dining area!
Off the great room is the master suite. A brushed nickel ceiling fan keeps the room comfortable. Off the expansive bedroom are a walk-in closet and the master bath.
A step-in shower with two seats is a wonderful feature of this room, as is an extra-long dual vanity with a kneehole. Add a small chair here and you have a perfect makeup table. The commode and linen closet are also located in this spacious master bath.
This home has so many special touches that are unseen, yet add so much to the home s value. The full basement is unfinished, but is plumbed for a full bath. The home offers a security system and a sprinkler system, and the great room features surround sound. Finally, at a time when homeowners are becoming more energy-conscious, this home boasts a high-efficiency furnace.
Monthly maintenance fees of $100 cover lawn care, snow removal, and the maintenance of common areas but, as an extra incentive to buy, Doyle Development is waiving those fees for the first year.
Welcome to this new home in this very new neighborhood.
