Paula Creamer hits out of a bunker on the fairway of the ninth hole in the second round of the Marathon Classic today.
The field has been finalized for the third round of the Marathon Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club.
Led by Beatriz Recari, Paula Creamer and Alison Walshe, 72 players made the cut today, including Natalie Gulbis, Michelle Wie, five-time tournament champion Se Ri Pak, defending tournament champion So Yeon Ryu and Lydia Ko, an amateur who is in a three-way tie for fifth.
Recari, Creamer and Walshe lead the field with an 8-under-par 134, ahead of Jacqui Concolino (135).
Caroline Powers, a Bowling Green High School graduate who golfed collegiately at Michigan State, did not make the cut.
Katie Burnett, Mariajo Uribe and Ji Young Oh will start from the first tee at 9:20 a.m. Saturday; Sandra Changkija, Katie Futcher and Natalie Gulbis will start from the 10th tee at 9:20. Recari, Creamer and Walshe tee off at 11:10 a.m.
