Mother of pharmacy error victim to speak

4/21/2010

FINDLAY — A Cleveland-area woman whose fight to have Emily's Law enacted in Ohio after her 2-year-old daughter died as a result of a pharmacy technician's error will speak tomorrow at an event hosted by the University of Findlay's college of pharmacy.

Kelly Jerry, whose daughter died in 2006, will speak at 11:30 a.m. in the Winebrenner Theological Seminary, 950 North Main St.

Emily's Law requires Ohio pharmacy technicians to pass a competency test and a criminal background check.
