ProMedica in alliance to advance technology
7/31/2012ProMedica has joined with the Cleveland Clinic in a national alliance, the two parties announced Monday.
The alliance is to help take medical procedures and ideas from within the health-care provider and boost them to a national scale. Among other partners in the alliance are the University of Notre Dame, MedStar Health, and North Shore-LIJ.
"Innovation is increasingly becoming a critical institutional priority for ProMedica, and we are looking for new ways to engage our physicians and employees in offering them a pathway to turn their ideas into products and services that meet the needs of our communities," Dr. Lee Hammerling, chief medical officer of ProMedica, said in a statement.
