Mercy names new chief nursing officer

Mercy has a new chief nursing officer.

The hospital group recently named Jacalyn Liebowitz as senior vice president, chief nursing officer, and chief quality officer of Mercy. Ms. Liebowitz most recently was a vice president and chief nursing officer at Allegiance Health in Jackson, Mich.

The Mercy Foundation also will have a new leader as of June 1. Earlier this month, Timothy J. Koder was named chief development officer of the Mercy Foundation.

Mr. Koder is coming to Mercy Foundation from Bowling Green State University, where he was interim vice president of University Advancement and interim vice president/CEO of BGSU Foundation Inc.
