Pregnancy center needs baby supplies

Heartbeat of Toledo, a pregnancy support center, needs new and gently used baby items. The needed items are diapers in sizes 4, 5, and 6; Similac and Isomil powdered formula; wipes; clothes size 0 to 6; boys’ clothing up to size 2T, and hand sanitizer.

Also needed are ointment for rashes and dry skin; towels and washcloths, baby wash, shampoo, bottle brushes, outerwear, high chairs, and strollers.

Items may be dropped off at the Heartbeat offices, 4041 W. Sylvania Ave, Suite LL4, across from Westfield Franklin Park mall. The office is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Maumee St. Joseph Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold a stuffed-cabbage dinner fund-raiser for Heartbeat at 6 p.m. Saturday at the St. Joseph Community Center, 112 W. Broadway, Maumee. Tickets can be bought at the door or by calling Bob Boyer at 419-467-1888. Admission is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 11 and under.
