Toledo-area medical 
centers acquired in deal

U.S. HealthWorks Inc., one of the largest operators of occupational health-care centers in the United States, has acquired two medical centers and their affiliated physical therapy facilities in the Toledo area.

Included in the deal are Occupational Care Consultants locations at 3028 Navarre Ave. in Oregon and 7010 Spring Meadows Drive West in Holland, as well as Therapy Works facilities in Oregon and Holland.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

U.S. HealthWorks has 205 facilities in 19 states.

The local facilities were once owned by two local physicians.
