Michigan troopers seize marijuana worth $20,000

JONESVILLE, Mich. — Michigan state troopers seized marijuana worth about $20,000 during a raid at a home in northern Hillsdale County, authorities said yesterday.

Troopers were sent to the residence in Scipio Township about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a report that several people were using marijuana, according to the Jonesville post of the state police.

Troopers confiscated 19 marijuana plants, seven long guns, 5.5 ounces of processed marijuana, and cultivation equipment.

No arrests had been made yesterday.
