IOWA CITY, Iowa - Manny Harris scored a game-high 15 points, and Anthony Wright added eight crucial points down the stretch as Michigan rallied to beat Iowa 60-52 last night.
Michigan shot 33.3 percent and scored just 16 points in the first half but used a 23-6 run in the second half to pull away from the Hawkeyes. The Wolverines shot 54.2 percent after halftime.
Michigan (7-17, 3-9 Big Ten) trailed by as many as 16 before halftime but opened the second half with a 13-4 run to pull within two. Iowa pushed the lead back to nine on a 7-0 run, but the Wolverines took over the game with their big run.
Iowa (11-15, 4-9) went nearly nine minutes without making a basket during Michigan's rally, highlighted by Wright's two big 3s. Wright's second 3 gave Michigan an eight-point lead with
3:09 left.
Justin Johnson and Tony Freeman each hit 3s to get Iowa within four, but Harris knocked down six free throws in the final 1:05 to seal the win.

Byron Davis led Youngstown State with 20 points and Vance Cooksey added 15 for the Penguins (8-17, 4-11), who have lost eight of nine.
