Michigan coach Rodriguez says Jones likely out for the season

ANN ARBOR --- Michigan linebacker Mike Jones is likely out for the rest of the season after breaking his leg in Saturday's win at Notre Dame, UM coach Rich Rodriguez said Monday. Linebacker Brandon Herron, who sprained his ankle in the game, is questionable for this Saturday's game against Massachusetts.

A UM spokesperson confirmed that redshirt freshman defensive end Anthony LaLota has left the program and intends to transfer elsewhere.

In scheduling news, UM's home game against Bowling Green on Sept. 25 will be played at noon and shown on either ESPN or ESPN2.
